I was thrilled to photograph this little guy. His arrival was greatly anticipated. I know his parents outside of the photography studio and it really was fun waiting for him. Actually, we wanted his parents to participate in all the recent Christmas/music performances so his arrival post-Christmas was perfect timing for most of us. He arrived before the big snowstorms too, so I’d say he had great timing.
He was the perfect subject too! So, without any more chit-chat, here he is!
Oh, I just love that close-up of his sweet little face. Isn’t it just adorable?
I really do have a great job. I adore photographing the newness of babies. I think it’s so important that parents take the time to invest in newborn portraits done by a professional. They only have those chunky cheeks and the cleft in the chin for a fleeting few weeks. The way they curl up and love to be swaddled only lasts a few days. It’s my privilege to produce perfect portraits that are both beautifully posed and beautifully lighted.
Please pass on my information to your friends and family who are planning on adding to the family! Anyone who is planning on having a baby or is currently pregnant should call to schedule a consultation and appointment. Maternity photography is best done between 7 and 8 months. Newborn photography works best before the baby is 14 days old. It’s best to schedule the newborn appointment while you are still pregnant knowing that you are “penciled in” on my calendar. That way I will not be overbooked. Your space will be saved!
Thanks again for trusting me for your newborn portraits! It really was an honor. (And I love telling our choir friends that I’ve already had snuggle time with him!!)
