It’s a cake smash kind of day! Here at K Thaemert Photography, we love little ones. It’s especially fun to photograph the first birthday milestone. It can be tough keeping a 12-month-old baby interested in staying put for a photoshoot, so I have to rely on many tricks!

Buckets, balloons, and cake are just a few of the tricks in this magic hat. This adorable little baby girl did well with the balloons (not all babies like balloons and some like them too much!) She did pretty well with the cake, but the bucket was her favorite!

Babies really are my passion. I love watching them grow. I love getting big smiles and hearing giggles. 1st birthday sessions are the perfect time to document all the milestones a baby experiences.
