FAQ:
Q: Where should we get portraits taken?
A: You may select either a studio portrait session or a “location” session. The studio is located in St Charles on the Highway 94 outer-road, very near where the Page Extension merges into 94. A Location session can be held at a local park, your home, a country club etc. Locations beyond 15 miles from the studio may incur additional fees. If you select an on-location session, you do not need to know an exact location prior to purchasing the gift certificate, but we do ask you to select either a studio session or a location session. Note, this can be changed at a later date if you selected incorrectly.
Q: How many people can be photographed? Can we have Grandma/Grandpa, plus all the siblings and their children?
A: Photographing the extended family is a very popular option. The studio can hold 25-30 people but it’s a tight fit on the set. If needed, we can photograph smaller groups and digitally create a panorama of your family. But yes, the extended family can be photographed.
Q: Can we substitute items?
A: Yes and no: You may upgrade a product within the same product line, but you may not swap between lines. For example, if you want a different-sized canvas, or you want to add a frame, we will just add the difference. You cannot, for example, take a canvas and swap for an album.
Q: When is the best time to get portraits taken?
A: Studio sessions are fine all year long. Clearly, the weather is a consideration at certain times of the year. The best time? It depends on when you have your family together. Our answer is always, “now”. None of us are guaranteed a “tomorrow”. We will work with you on scheduling around your family needs. Be prepared to talk about nap times for younger children, as well as work/school schedules and vacation times.
