Getting the entire family together for family photos… It’s great fun.

Oh, who are we kidding?  It’s a lot of work getting ready for a multi-generation portrait session.  From picking out clothing, selecting the location, coordinating schedules, and planning the session with the photographer we know that you go through quite a process to plan this special occasion.

Once you arrive for the session, we will focus on getting a variety of poses, including the full group, the kids with the grandparents, the individual families, just the kids, and especially a generational photo of all the girls or all the guys.  Those generational photos are my favorite!  How precious is this portrait?  Great Grandma, Grandma, Mom, and daughter, together in one place.  I’m sure they will treasure this for many years to come.

And photos with your adult children are also a great idea.  When was the last time you posed with your adult children?

And of course, take photos with your own children!

To finish off, it’s time for individual portraits. I love taking individual kid photos!!
